DeeRonn Booker Announces Cancer Diagnosis
The bowling world is rallying around DeeRonn Booker after the 2024 USBC Masters champion announced that he has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Booker said he was diagnosed with BPDCN, blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm, a form of leukemia, and has already begun chemotherapy.
In a message shared on social media, Booker said he plans to fight the disease and thanked fans for their support. He also explained that his treatment will require a bone marrow transplant and that he will remain under hospital supervision for the next month.
