Mission Bowling Club is a small, restaurant-forward six-lane bowling venue at 3176 17th Street in San Francisco’s Mission District. It pairs bowling with a full-service bar, craft cocktails, weekend brunch, dinner, and a notably food-focused menu—making it best for a social meal-and-bowling night rather than a large arcade-style outing. 

The venue is all ages until 6 p.m.; after 6 p.m., it is generally 21+ every day except Sunday, which remains all ages. During all-ages periods, guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. It identifies as Black-owned and women-owned, and includes wheelchair-accessible entry, restrooms, and seating. 

Mission Bowling Club accepts walk-ins, but online lane reservations are recommended because there are only six lanes. A lane accommodates one to six people and is charged per 50-minute session rather than per bowler: $58 from opening–3 p.m., $68 from 3–5 p.m., and $78 from 5 p.m.–close, plus $5 shoe rental per bowler. Reservations can generally be booked up to seven days ahead. 

It is generally open 4–10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 3–10 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m.–midnight Friday, 11 a.m.–midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday. Mondays are normally closed except for select events, including Dark Alleys, Queer Bowling, and occasional Bargain Bowling. The club hosts birthdays, team outings, private events, kids’ weekend parties, and larger lane rentals; group event packages include lane fees plus food-and-beverage minimums.
